"How to Get a Free Rent"
Do you know that you can get a free rent anywhere the United States and earn at the same time? This would be big news to those who doesn’t have a rent or mortgage payments. And housing costs nowadays is one big problem no matter where in the country you live in. Opportunities to get free rent may be found simply by going to the classified ads of a newspaper in the area where you wish to live in. And most of these opportunities can be listed under “Help Wanted”.
There are three methods through which you can get free rent:
1. Manage an apartment
This position normally pays only a token salary along with free rent. And your job as a manager consists of collecting rents, showing vacancies, making minor repairs such as leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs and taking care of the grounds. Depending on the size of the complex, some units actually pay a small salary.
2. As a Building Care taker
In a very large complex such as building apartments, there is usually a separate maintenance man. So as the building caretaker you will handle rent and sowing the vacant units. The downside of being a building caretaker is the job itself. To maintain this large of a complex is not an easy task. So be sure to ready yourself before signing in to any agreement.
Well, House sitting is much more attractive to the average person. The only drawback is that the most given opportunities are for short-terms (3months to a year). So if you only want to locate to an area for a short period of time, this is more ideal to you. Most people would rather have someone to occupy their home during they’re away. Your responsibilities would be to maintain the premises and treat their home as if it were your own.
The downside thou is having a nomadic kind of life. This is not actually suitable with anyone who has children. If you venture into this kind of a free rent, planning ahead where to stay next is a must.
Remember that before signing or entering any kind of agreement, it’s best to get all in writing. This writing should include the length of your stay, the responsibilities that you have to do, or specific instructions for the care of the property. This is important to avoid misunderstandings between you and the home owner.
